Whether you're brand new to yoga, Ayurveda, and the Eastern healing arts, or not - this workshop is sure to be fun, informative, and inspiring. Join Sally as we learn how to incorporate simple dietary modifications, lifestyle adjustments, and a home yoga and meditation practice in an assessible and effective way. The aim of this workshop is to empower you with the tools, as well as the compassion you need, to understand your unique body type and how to best enjoy each and every day!
We will include a short discussion about the 3 doshas and the basics of constitutional medicine. Most of the time will be spent with "hands-on" learning around food, yoga, and meditation. You will learn how to use the neti pot, how to perform abhyanga (daily self oil massage), how to set up an altar in your home for daily meditation practice, and more. You will leave with samples of herbs, oils, and foods, as well as a guided meditation CD.
